Family Cabral
The father of the family, Teofil Cabral (54) and his wife Maria Britez (38) life along the main road from Asunción to Ciudad del Este, in Coronel Oviedo, district Caaguazú. They earn an income by gathering empty plastic bottles and selling them per kilo to the garbage collectors. They earn together a mere $ 2 a day. They live on this spot since 2 months, and originally come from San Joaquin. The family Cabral would like to live in a real house, but do not have the means for that. They found a shelter in a makeshift plastic tent. They are fled from their own region, that has been deforested.
